For those who took the old version of this exam (within the last couple of years), how long did you study prior to the exam? thanks!

Not long - maybe did 2 hours worth of review over 2 or 3 weeks. It's really easy

Didn't study... finished it ridiculously fast. You could use the help files and I'm pretty sure you could use the internet too so if you didn't know something you just looked it up.

i took it like 4-5 years ago, but you might want to take a look at Access if youve never used it before. im assuming you are probaby familar with word, excel, and powerpoint.

Thanks. The test is this Saturday. I know basic excel and used to know some advanced concepts, but now it's more so basic, so I guess I'll study that and Access the most. I used access in ACC340, but that's it. I didn't have any issues with it, but if the questions are somewhat nitpicky, I might be in trouble!Oh, and for anyone who has yet to take the test, the test this Sat is the last one using Office 97. After that, it's all going to be the newest stuff, and from what I've been told, it's going to be more difficult. So, if you can still get a seat, you might want to try for this Sat. Is the test going to be exactly like the practice lessons/pretests/posttests?

The test I took Saturday was like the practice exams. I am not sure about future tests because they will be on Office 2007 rather than XP. You'll be better off learning Office 2007, though, because most employers are switching to that platform.I'm glad that's over with!
