I am trying to get Slimserver to stream over the internet and it is simply not working. I can get it to work using softsqueeze but when I provide the ipaddress to my windows media player http://myaddress:5000/stream.mp3 I get the "cannot open" error I have a song playing according to slimservers web interface. All of my files are ripped as WMA lossless so maby that has something to do with it? anyways, somebody please help.
