Joe Wilkinson, a Sandy Springs Republican. "And from that standpoint, it's worth 10 minutes." There has been growing momentum in Georgia for a playoff system since the Bulldogs' convincing victory over Hawaii. Michael Adams, the president of the University of Georgia, proposed an eight-team playoff system last month to determine the NCAA's national football champion. He said the current system is "undercutting the sportsmanship and integrity of the game.""

since when did the government make sports a top priority? We have no energy policy, an economy that is about to go into recession(if it isn't there already) and a merriad of other problems, yet they waste their time with this shit?

maybe they should be worried about bigger things but i for one want a college playoff, and i dont like the patriots, and the BCS and NFL sure as fuck aren't going to correct anything on their own

I don't want the government trying to fix college football, or mess with the NFL. GTFO, sick of seeing politicians who know nothing about sports, don't follow sports, can't even say the players names correctly use sports to try to get face time on television during an election year.

College football and the NFL are both booming industries, maybe they should be telling the government how to run shit, not the other way around.
