monthly usage, about a year long contractlove to text and talk, not so big on the internet capabilities....I know any major carrier could do, but I am thinking I want top of the line technology and not that piece of shit iphone or the brick of a paperweight blackberry

I settled on the Blackberry Pearl, and it was worth it.I moved up from a RAZR v3, and it's a pleasant surprise that the chargers are compatible.

i was trying to explain how cool the "bag phone" was to my Ex a few nights ago lol
2/12/2008 4:14:18 PM
I would go with a sprint CEVO account. You can get a good phone with a good plan for prices that can't be beat.
2/12/2008 4:14:26 PM
this is like asking what computer you should fucking buy without any other real information
2/12/2008 4:15:25 PM
i just traded out my razr for an iphone... so far, it's awesome- and i imagine once i figure out all the programs, get the gps working, etc... it will be even betterbut there was a pretty big price tag that came along with it

I wonder when they'll start coming out with complete embedded non-proprietary software pushes for cell phones that require no hardware changes. You might have to sacrifice special features, but they really should allow you to hop from carrier to carrier. If this is out there...please tell me.

i mean, with gsm phones you have a choice (if theyre unlocked) of tmobile, suncom, cingular/at&t and any provider when overseas provided it works on their frequencies.[Edited on February 12, 2008 at 4:24 PM. Reason : just switch a sim card and thats it]

^^I'm actually dead serious but its for one of our employees who does a lot of travel in rural areas of the Carolinas where you can't get digital signals he's got a BlackBerry alread but this is to mount in his vehicle...Motorola M800 is pretty solid when you combine it with an amp]
2/12/2008 4:46:18 PM
uh, you realize analog service is going to end on the 18th?
2/12/2008 4:48:16 PM
i know cell providers arent going to be required to support analog networks but i also know there are a shit ton of regions and small cities where they dont have digital towers and will continue to have analog access until digital networks are setup

my w580i is awesome. it's a slider, and is awesomely thin. I wear slim jeans (no emo) and i barely feel it in my pocket. has 1gb for music, walkman prog, and all the goodies.
