incubus

S.C.I.E.N.C.E. used to be one of my top 5 albums ever (circa 1999 or so). and now, even while acknowledging that it's certainly by far their best album, i still can't believe I held it in such high esteem.

i really dislike incubus now.

I agree with you willemjoel

it started with morning view and then I listened to all of incubus' albums a lot in high school

then a while back I tried listening to it again and was almost disgusted with myself

forshame

Depeche Mode - "Enjoy the Silence"

http://youtube.com/watch?v=Hd7y6A-5uTY

The Cure - "Fascination Street"

http://youtube.com/watch?v=E_nSETaWNzY

Morrissey - "Irish Blood, English Heart"

http://youtube.com/watch?v=KKoS5X4SMrY

Shit, these songs are still fucking great. And only "Enjoy the Silence" sounds a bit dated to me--it reminds of Europe in the '80s.

I do still like Enjoy the Silence, but those bands in general just remind me of a time that I spent making myself and everyone around me miserable, so that's why I wouldn't just pull out my old CDs and listen to them.
