I was called this last night by a chick. she said, "your so patronizing and condescending, but in a very nice way". we got into an argument how I felt local Miami people were less intelligent than the rest of the country, which is fairly true I think. they champion beauty and superficial stuff over intelligence. and it definitely shows with the people here the locals are fucking idiots for the most part.

i was explaining that there's no industry in Miami other than tourism and leisure so that's the reason most of the minorities here are impoverished. her response was, "The Spanish population here is mostly wealthy and middle class".

this true, but they're the majority so it's sort of skewed. anyway it ended with her saying, "I doubt I'll ever talk to you again".


i don't give a sh!t cause she wasn't hot or anything, but it sort of hurt my feelings to be called a "polite asshole".

it was nuts. i mean i was invited over. at like midnight. i wasn't thinking bwn, but whatever i'll go. so i get over and she's watching an Ingmar Bergen film, which gave her points to me. and I was just really impressed with the decor and all.

just interesting conversation and then we get all argumentative and then any point i made she was say, "you're saying to many words. you say 25 words when all you have to say is 3". and then she tells me how she failed out of NC STATE, which I thought was ironic being we just really meet and hung out.

but I sent her a thank you note for inviting me. also, she's a pianist and I really need to learn how to play this year just as a hobby.

Lots of people fail out of NCSU, too many administrative flaws. I don't see why I had to take math classes with nuclear enginieering majors, as an econ major myself.

OKAY. this is when I called her an idiot last night

we talk about the elections. i say. for the Republicans for the party to continue to thrive they have to go with Romney. the Dems she says John Edwards is going to be the Vice President for either Clinton or Obama. he's the best choice. i go into how all the other VPs were sort of unknown or low-key and the complemented weak areas of the President. the only probably choice for john edwards to be offered VP is Obama and Edwards would have to eat crow and I doubt he would.

so I basically said, "you're nuts! it's not possible. where in history has a President made such a selection to someone so polarizing to their own political race".


and that's when things really went downhill.

My cousin has a pretty sick house in SE. It's a "green" house, he built it himself (with contractors, but he's an architect). It isn't is SE PROPER though, his neighborhood is pretty quiet and safe.
