Miss North Carolina actually made it to top 5! We haven't had anyone make it that far in years.

Whatever genius decided eliminate two of the top ten contestants before they got to do their talent ought to be fired. That had to be the most embarrassing thing they could do to these girls - have them all prepared to perform their talent and then tell them on live TV "Sorry you've been eliminated from the competition."
