i signed for a car and the entire transaction has been for lack of a better term a complete clusterf*ck. ended up having to go back to the dealer to resign paper work not 1 not 2 not 3 but 4 times. they assured me each time that everything is done apologized and thanked me . the finance comapny has contacted me 3 times for various paper work that was already faxed over by the dealer(multiple times). now they(finance company) are saying i don' t have insurance on the vehicle and that they'd be adding $2k to the principal and another $40 to the payments ... i immediately had Allstate fax over proof of insurance.at this point i don't care who's fault it was it's been the most time consuming, tedious, and just plan annoying purchase ever, and i want no parts of it if i have to call on a biweekly basis. i've had the vehicle for coming up on 2 months is there any n.c. clause anything in general that can help me get out of this?[Edited on January 25, 2008 at 8:04 PM. If I was in your situation I would call everyone involved and make empty threats while screaming obscenities until the problems were rectified. That is probably not the best course of action, but that is what I would do.

honestly, wtf? They want to add more for insurance? Are they effectively trying to sell you insurance - which you already have? One way or the other, the answer is going to be no, payments will be done by the contract or else lawyers will get involved.
