pretty neat website...basically a world map with little animated icons for recent stories, and if you click the icon it opens an actual print articlehttp://globalincidentmap.com/home.php

The "bombing in Pakistan" stories don't really surprise me but you read some interesting domestic stuff on that site...I think about 6 months ago there was some bomb scare at the airport in Indianapolis...I don't recall hearing about it anywhere else (I'm sure local news in Indy had it) but this site had a link

most of the links are either to local newspapers, yahoo, associated press, etc...they're not some hoax stories made up by security firms or preparedness agenciesbut yeah nothing new, just a cool way to organize it, and it updates quite often

Hoax?...noMisleading?...absolutely.

^^what story have you read that is misleading?]
1/24/2008 2:46:42 PM
not the stories themselves, just the fact that they'll put anything on there that could even remotely be construed as relating to "terrorism", so they can get the shock value of a graphic map full of terrorist attacks.[Edited on January 24, 2008 at 2:55 PM. Reason : .]
