we have these little green earplug things at work to use while we're in the datacenter since it's so loud

you squish them, twist them, and stick them in your ear, they go in pretty deep

when you pull them out they're usually covered in wax

it's a good feeling

i used to do one at a time. sometimes i'll do it in my right ear a certain way that automatically induces a cough, but now...

2 Q-Tips, i spin and work them in one direction at the same time. then i use the other side and go in the opposite direction.

Usually after i'm done i leave them in my ear for a second and make weird faces and alien noises in the mirror

ah this thread reminds me, i used to hang out with this girl... and she went to the doctor, had an earache or something.

and she said that the doctor ended up pulling out (however they do it) this HUGE BALL of wax. i mean she wasn't a dirty hippy or anything like that. actually a pretty clean girl. so since then i've decided that earwax isnt nasty, its just something that happens.

she said she used q-tips too. maybe they're bad

peroxide and a rubber ball syringe...thats how you get the big ball of wax to come out. you have to lean your head over the sink, fill the sink up with warm water, and blast your ear with the water from the syringe. i've had to do it a few times and its a whole new world afterwards.

I go to the doctor every now/then to get my ears irrigated. Let me tell you it's one of the best experiences ever. Your ears feel like amazing.
