Rawr rawr rawr Billy badass here

The only thing a good cut of meat needs is to be cooked, not marinaded.

I put a cinnamon chipolte rub on my T-bone tonight. It was delicious, but it sucked grillin in the snow/sleet.

i thought the omaha steaks place was supposed to be pretty much a good source right

and filet is supposed to be a good cut right

because the last one that i had wasnt very interesting without any marinade

so this time i poured some italian dressing in a bowl and put like a sprinkle of cinnamon with a little salt and pepper. and kinda stirred it for a second then dropped the steak in it, then flipped it over, then put it in to cook. i didnt let it soak or anything like that. i just wanted it to have a taste. also i am experimenting with different cooking methods

i was just cooking for myself, and i kinda thought it would be funny. plus i figured at the worst it would just taste a little weird.

its not bad, you can barely taste it.

Cinnamon sounds interesting, bet that was good.

I like to rub steaks with olive oil, kosher salt & freshly ground pepper for cooking and top with homemade herb butter right before serving. MMMM.

there's this fantastic restaurant up here called The Grate Steak. Their slogan is "A Rare Medium, Well Done".

I love this restaurant because you order your cut of steak, and then they bring it to you raw if you choose. Then you can go over to their 50ft long charcoal grill and cook it however the fuck you want. Of course there is everything in the grill room that you could possible need.

My routine

1. Let the woman order her steak.
2. Order my steak
3. Eat a salad
4. Take our steaks over to the grill
5. Take two cooked potatoes wrapped in tin foil, and place them on the grill
6. Take our steaks and place them on the grill
7. Cook steaks to medium
8. When steaks are 2 minutes away from being finished, place 6 pieces of bread on the grill, season with garlic seasoning & butter
9. Remove steaks and potatoes
10. Remove garlic bread
11. Put condiments on potatoes (chives, butter, and sour cream for me plz)
12. Carry plates back to our table and NOM
