the starbucks by my high school is the hang out place. when i went home for the few small breaks i had during summer, i met up with lots of HS friends and saw others there. it's just neat.

I don't go to Starbucks because it's so damned snooty--and the one at CV is the worst. I tried to get a regular cup of black Colombian coffee there week before last and they didn't have it, but they had some nasty, bitter shit that I never heard of and didn't want (hand to forehead).

Starbucks doesn't sell coffee--it sells a lifestyle. But I think everybody from a prince to a pauper can appreciate a plain old cup of joe--regardless of the coffee drinker's lifestyle.
