going into a folding machine...5400rpm worth the bump over 4200rpm, and is 7200rpm worth it? your "recommendations"...also, if you happen to have one to sell me, let me know

in my experience disk speed makes a huge difference. i have a 10000 rpm drive in my desktop and it makes linux incredibly zippy. so i recommend going as fast as possible, but keep in mind that faster also means noisier and more expensive.

no as far as i know folding is not hard drive intensive at ALL

and i never visit classifieds
