It's a lot harder to adopt here than internationally. International adoption is expensive, but in some cases can be less tedious and faster.

^I have heard mixed things about this thought. I have had friends that it took longer internationally and shorter here. And that is correct that it is more expensive abroad. There are some countries that are starting to close their borders to outside adopters bc they want these orphans to grow up in the country where they were born.
