I'de rather see MySQL go to Sun than Oracle. And that is coming from someone who makes their living off of Oracle. Sun has a much better track record with open source. Sun will help it thrive while Oracle would probably kill it. -- Dave

postgresql or oraclemysql has some serious limitations that don't make it a big loss for me, if it were to go away
