I just purchased a Linksys wrt54GL router and itll be here in a few days, I have read that flashing the dd-wrt firmware onto it will create a pretty good router. I went on the DD-WRt website and on the downloads i can find the wrt54gl folder but when i open it all the files do not say wrt54gl and there are a bunch of files! which one do i download, I have heard you need to flash the mini first then the standard for the GL router. I need to be 110% sure i have the right firmware! I dont want to brick the router!
help!

I don't know about your router specifically, but the last time i looked at the dd-wrt website there seemed to be in depth tutorials for most of the routers supported.

i'm too lazy to go look right now though.

Ok i think i found the tutorial for flashing, lets hope it works once i get the router.
