wow, way to go ford. i guess mustang sales didn't decline quite enough in 2007. keep up the good work, if you're lucky you'll have it killed off just in time for the new camaro and challenger.[Edited on January 14, 2008 at 4:02 PM. Reason : .]

They no longer produce much of anything worthwhile anyway. They'll probably kill off the Mercury brand when the Grand Marquis goes out of production next year; does anyone buy the Milan or Montego? Not from what I've seen. And the Mariner is much less common than the Escape. Fusion is a decent car but nothing special, and will probably get its ass handed to it by the new Malibu. SUV and truck sales are probably on a down slope. If the MKS gets produced in the same format as the concept, it might breathe some life into Lincoln, but...Things don't look good. And with behavior like this, fuck 'em.

turboforums.com used to be turbomus**ngs.com until F**d heard about it.My next car WONT be a F**D that's for sure. Well, it wouldn't be my car anyways if I wanted to take pictures of it.

Anyone remember in the early 1990's when Ford Acquired Jaguar, and sued the people who had put down deposits on the V12 XJ220 because the buyers backed out when Ford made it a v6?

^^business 101 - it's all politics. words are there to make it all pretty.

lol. Horrible PR move. I'd fire their VP of marketing for that.As a photographer, I find no basis of why ford claims to have legal ownership of those pictures??? I can understand the use of their logo, but a photographer has ownership of what he or she takes. Even if they do not own the product that they take picture of, as long as they are in public view or on private property with permission. Unless there is a written contract that transfers ownership and rights to another party. It will never hold up in court. If ford thinks that, then I suppose because I use a Canon camera, Canon owns all of the pictures that I take because I'm using their products.
