i just got a very tersly worded email from a supervisor at the ems station that used to like me a lot and we were pretty good friends

i had asked about the whole earring thing

he basically said i can either take them out or resign.

he also said that if i can't commit to riding at least once a week then i should resign... ive been having this trouble with sleeping for the past few months now so im not really able to function at work/school let alone pull a shift at the station... ive been doing what i can.

i guess i'll explain it to him, and if that doesn't help, i'll resign...

thus my EMS endeavors may come to an end through no fault of my own (the earrings aren't the problem here).

*sigh*

suffice to say i'm not feeling very good at all tonight. sadness ftl.

i just have varied interests/skill sets/experience... it's not like i can just go apply for any job i want... i had to work hard to get to where i am today... actually, that's part of what's so frustrating about all of this - all of my work is being thrown down the drain and my name drug through the mud just because of some stupid fucking neurological condition that i can't control... i don't think you guys know how mentally taxing and frustrating that is...

honestly, i wish all the time that my life wasn't so damn complicated. i wish i could just go to college and have some dead-end job somewhere that required nothing more than menial labor.

and the earrings were kind of important to me... idk... it was something different... in the monotony of my existence it was something that broke the routine... as stupid as it sounds, it made me feel human again.

i know you guys are going to bitch and moan about me saying this, but honestly, it's the damn truth.
