I know it's a longshot, but I don't have much to lose by trying, right?I own seven very sweet, very friendly rats, six females and one neutered male. I took them off the hands of someone who was forced, very reluctantly, to give them up. We had an understanding that I would keep them as long as necessary, but would also try to find a place for them where they would get more care and attention than I can offer. They come with this cage:http://www.ferret.com/ItemDetail.aspx?ItemNo=630503As well as 30 pounds of food (quite a lot) and a wide range of toys, igloos, and other accessories. They're all in good health and are very friendly both to each other and to people. Before I give them up I'm going to need to establish confidently that you aren't just looking to score a free cage or some free feeder rats.Although I don't actually expect any serious responses, I'll hope for them.

Also, I'd be willing to handle all the transportation to anywhere in central NC

PM sent, but for everyone else's benefit, so far they've gotten along fine with new rats (the seven of them are the combination of two smaller colonies).
