I had a best bud kill another one on New years few yrs ago when he was drunk and flipped a truck. he got 1.5 to 3 in upstate NY prison. got out after 2 with 5 yrs probation

but theres no law against riding drunk, it wouldnt take much persuading to convince a drunk passenger that you are not drunk when you are drunk as shit

A lot of drunk drivers get talked into driving by the other they're with cause no one really thinks they'll get hurt they just don't want to get arrested.

I almost think riding with a drunk driver should be illegal sort of like being an accomplice to murder... It will make it easier to just say nahh we'll get a cab home if everyone is facing arrest if they get pulled over. And it will stop people getting talked into driving home drunk.

its stupid yea, but i dont feel like a passenger should be criminally liable unless they directly force an intoxicated party to drive them..by that i mean the passenger is somehow proven to have the such a mindset as "oh well ill let her drive so that I dont get sent to jail if we get caught" or somethin like that
