has anybody taken an english course over the summer? something like eng 201 or eng 323. i just wanted to get an idea if i would be doing a paper once a week.

I took tech comm for engineers this past summer. You do have a project due every week, but it is infinitely better than stretching the pain out over 16 weeks.

I took ENG 332 over the summer; it was brutal. At least 40 hours/week for that one class. If you aren't working full-time and only take the one class it should be okay.

nah like another eng101. pharmacy at UNCch requires another english which is 201 or 323. i think it would look bad if i took english at wake tech

I think it's hit or miss. I took a 100 level during the summer and it was much easier b/c the teacher realized that she couldn't fit everything they usually do into a 5 week summer session. I took another higher up class the following year and the prof pretty much tried to squeeze all the regular semester stuff into the summer session.
