Go for it, though I wonder if today the trees along the railroad tracks would be in the way.

And while I do think it looked better without anything in front of it, you have to admit the current Honors Commons building is a damn sight more attractive than the old Quad C-Store.

they built a new building for scholars on top of where the c-store used to be

there's a c-store and old pictures of the quad hanging on the walls of the new building on the ground floor
