But statistically speaking, most sexually active people on TWW should probably answer yes.

You won't get genital warts from some dude drinking out of your glasses. Hell, you won't even get it if you make out with him. Now if you're sucking his dick, you could get them in your mouth. It's rare, but it does happen.

A lot of girls have hpv and alot of guys are carriers... Prolly one of the more common STDs because guys can't get screened for it... hpv is responsible for causing cervical cancer

how is that for you?

When I was teaching comprehensive sex ed. a little over 6 years ago, they were telling people that it could not be orally transmitted. Since then, they've gone back on that because there have been instances of oral HPV in immune compromised patients, infants via. birth, and occasionally in perfectly healthy people. So, there is a possibility of contracting oral HPV through oral sex, but it is not common.Fortunately, a high percentage of HPV cases only result in several outbreaks and then your immune system keeps the virus under locks, but that does not prevent you from transmitting it to other people.Edit: And only a handful of strains of HPV are responsible for cervical cancer, but there are lots others out there that are not related to cervical cancer. And it is possible to be infected with multiple strains of the virus.[Edited on December 29, 2007 at 2:24 PM. Reason : .]
