12/29/2007 3:34:16 AM

12/29/2007 3:35:25 AM
dnl doesnt care about conserving waterfor the record, i throw as many clothes/towels/etc that will fit in one load(no matter the color). cold wash ftw[Edited on December 29, 2007 at 4:34 AM. Reason : d]
12/29/2007 4:33:42 AM
i throw it all together, even if i have 2 loads, half whites, half darks, i'll just do 2 mixed loads instead of 1 white, 1 dark.i always do warm water, i guess i figured i'd just go in between cold and hot.[Edited on December 29, 2007 at 4:56 AM. Reason : f]
12/29/2007 4:55:38 AM
man fuck conserving water...clothing costs more than water
12/29/2007 5:16:54 AM

12/29/2007 5:30:04 AM

12/29/2007 6:06:25 AM
i see what you did there
12/29/2007 6:10:15 AM
those laundry machines charge way too much for me to seperate
12/29/2007 6:16:36 AM
khaki shit usually gets washed with whites and like colors. unless it's nasty ass socks that need bleach then i'll do whites only.sometimes teh khaki shit gets thrown in together with light blues and what not depending on my current arsenal of weekend "going out" clothing.those light blues etc will get thrown in with darks if need be, but usually i try to make a seperate pile for my red shit because i've had it turn out a diff shade when washed with black/darks.towels never get washed with clothes, who wants towellint all over their poloz?/ocd?
12/29/2007 6:22:05 AM
^^give me a break i use the same ones...use to be .75 per load...that was the day...10 dollars gets you like 4 loads....4 loads should be like 2 weeks
12/29/2007 6:27:59 AM
So you're gonna spend $10 every two weeks on just washing your clothes (not counting detergent and whatever else you use). I'm investing in my own w/d soon thanks.
12/29/2007 6:34:50 AM
i'll pay you money to use itmy shit wouldnt add anymore than 10 bucks a month to electric and u dont pay water...[Edited on December 29, 2007 at 6:42 AM. Reason : win win]

12/29/2007 7:36:35 AM
yall are so racist, supporting segregation
12/29/2007 8:54:28 AM
i have a maid that comes weekly and does the laundryshe separates whites and colors, and does sheets and towels separatelymost of my "outer wear" clothes, like pants and shirts, go to the dry cleaners
12/29/2007 9:21:25 AM
anything except tshirts and jeans and household stuff gets picked up by the dry cleanersthen i just throw everything else in the washer all at oncenever had a problem with it
12/29/2007 9:29:27 AM
lightish colors + whitesdarkish colorsmost of my clothes (shirts and pants) are neutral colors so the most whites I'd have would be socks and an occational shirt. Not enough to do a whole load with just those.
12/29/2007 9:58:20 AM
Very carefully.
12/29/2007 10:00:22 AM
12/29/2007 10:08:46 AM
I'll have to ask my girlfriend and get back to youj/kI separate darks and lights, as was the tradition of my people before meI dry them on a clothesline... sucks during the winter
12/29/2007 10:13:55 AM
i pay people to do minei hate doing laundryat ~$1 dollar bucks per pound, it's too cheap not to
12/29/2007 10:15:25 AM
yeah that's kind of greatif I move to NYC I am going to have to find a laundry that does shit for mecause by then I'll be too important and I'll want to outsource my daily life maintenance to immigrants
12/29/2007 10:19:11 AM
yeah it's nicei drop it off in the mornings before work, and it's delivered to my apartment that afternoon when im home.everything folded, socks paired and folded, shirts hung and pressed
12/29/2007 10:23:05 AM
how much does a bag of laundry typically weigh?
12/29/2007 10:23:48 AM
my last dropoff was 88 lbsbut that was for 6 weeks worth of clothes, or 4 garbage bags full
12/29/2007 10:25:54 AM
goddamn son, you pay someone to do it and you still wait 6 weeks?[Edited on December 29, 2007 at 10:27 AM. Reason : i don't even have 6 weeks worth of clothes]
12/29/2007 10:27:14 AM
i accumulated that many clothes when i'd do it myselfi'd hate doing it so bad that i'd just go buy more instead of doing laundrynow it's just a bad habit ive come into, waiting too goddamned long
12/29/2007 10:28:32 AM

12/29/2007 10:40:17 AM
dump everything into the cold wash.
12/29/2007 10:43:34 AM
essentially there are four loads--colors, whites/greys/khakis unless i'm bleaching something then i'll throw the khakis and greys in with the colors, delicates, towels and sheets. all are washed on cold water except towels and sheets which i wash with hot water. i dry them on medium/low heat for 20 minutes, and take out sweaters and jeans that I want to finish air drying. then i continue to dry on medium/low heat until dry. i try not to dry my bras in the dryer, but i will sometimes. i dry towels and sheets on high.then i pray the laundry faerie will show up, fold them all and/or iron and hang them, and put them all away
12/29/2007 11:08:21 AM
i'm a washing machine... not a show you how i do it machinei do lights, darks and reds, and sometimes a group of bright colors depending on what i've been wearing
12/29/2007 11:12:02 AM
Husband's work clothes, sheets and towels, and everything else.Forget sorting colors and whites.
12/29/2007 11:13:22 AM
12/29/2007 11:51:55 AM
i usually throw reds in with other stuff if it has been washed before. But dad asked me to clean his house one and i ended up turning all his towels pink. He was pissed and i now seperate them out and only wash them with really dark stuffI also seperate out my whites from my solid whites that i can bleach
12/29/2007 12:35:42 PM
yeah i do a medium load of reds sometimes...try not to wear the color as much nemore
12/29/2007 12:36:53 PM
general work clothes go into one load with normal detergentwhites/tans go into another with normal detergent and a scoop of oxy cleandarks/colors go into another with normal detergentevery couple months I do a load of delicates for a small amount of clothes that request iteverything on cold water, low heat dryingclass b work shirts and other dress shirts and pants go to the dry cleaners for laundering/pressingwifey does her own... too many things to keep up with
12/29/2007 12:50:58 PM
I just throw it all together colors, whites, towels.
12/29/2007 1:36:21 PM
i wish i could do laundry just once a month...like i had enough boxers and white tees etc to do that
12/29/2007 1:37:32 PM
