Blood Simple is up there for me, I really need to watch all of them again.

Dunno about best, but it's definitely up there.

All their movies are great except Intolerable Cruelty and The Ladykillers.

But the best ones are: Fargo, Blood Simple, The Big Lebowski, and No Country For Old Men

lebowski is probably far more brilliant than most of us could even comprehend.
name another director who could pull that movie off...

that's like asking what sex position is the best ...

They're all different, yet great, but have the same satisfying result ... I mean, sure some are a little less comfortable than others; but really, in the end, they all feel good.

Top 3:
Big Lebowski
Fargo
No Country For Old Men

I honestly couldn't pick a favorite from these three. Fargo and Big Lebowski might be my favorite Coen Brothers film mostly because those were also written from their own ideas and not from a source but I think NCFOM is a better movie than the other two and really shows off two directors at their finest.
