It's been so long since NC has had a snow of blizzard proportions. Remember the big one back in I think '89? Feet upon feet of snow, everything shut down for days.

that picture up there looks EXACTLY like the property line back in raleigh. the neighborhood was wooded and bordered a big field, and we lived in the last house. bordered by the field. even though im sure its not that rare, it is kinda creepy.

The accents here are godawful. There, the accents are less evident in speech, less common, and not as strong.

i.e., Chicago 'accent' > southern accent
