is that the one whose premise is that after 48 hours, the probability of solving the crime drops?

yeah the title is based off that old adage or whateverits been on for a year or 2 now easy. basically they have camera crews just chilling with homicide teams 24/7, then when murders come up, they start rolling tape and the clock startseven if they dont resolve it in 48, they'll have an update at the end like 7 days later they caught bob, who was the guy driving the blue car etc etc. sometimes they show ones that go unsolved, but they usually show ones that get solved within 36-72also it is amazing how many people dont get attorneys. i think i've seen like 3 and heard mention of maybe 5 more out of all the episodes. the guys normally just give themselves up when confronted with evidence.my favorite team is memphis, they're funny and the most fair imo. they have like 6 cities or so. miami seems to be the worst for overcharging obvious 2nd degree as 1st degree and etc. fun stuff

hell yeah...aint nobody got shit on the m town

This is hands down my favorite show on television...mostly because I want to be a detective.I too was also surprised how many people didn't have a lawyer present for questioning ect ect, but look at alot of the people they're interviewing, they don't seem to understand how serious of a situation they've gotten themselves in.

Caroline Mason FTW.
12/20/2007 8:49:00 PM
hell yeah caroline is awesome. they're replaying old ones now i cant believe menphis charged all those guys with murder 1 on that last episode (the one with cheeseburger).

i think i like memphis the most because they show the pyramid so much between scenes and stuff. reminds me of my long long long long drive down i40 a couple summers ago. i killed the old jackleg and left him in that river there.

Ms. Mason gon' sit you down with a cold drink and make you confess to it.She does it every time. I confessed to robbing a liquor store at gunpoint and I've never even been to Memphis.[Edited on December 20, 2007 at 10:23 PM. Reason : ]

12/20/2007 10:23:49 PM
I think it's the only way they can get them to talk about whatever murder their investigating.[Edited on December 20, 2007 at 10:28 PM. Reason : ]

im watching one on dvr now, miami homicide. they pulled a car out of that waterway that all the cruise ships go out of from the port past miami beach, you could see the boats right there. that was wild.

parking wars?
1/16/2008 10:32:31 PM
My only complaint is you only have to watch the last half of the show since they recap the investigation after each commerical break / time they come back to the crime.

i <3 this show too bad emce hates cops shows and i love them all
1/16/2008 11:31:44 PM
^^ im good with the dvr (and the recaps), i can usually get through an hour show (44min?) in about 30 anyways and no not parking wars, thats kinda boring. the first 48 is what im talking about. turns out i get a boner of seeing cops chasing real criminals...
