I don't think this is about being holier than thou jackleg.
We aren't discussing someone unknown teen girl that got knocked up by her boyfriend. This is the star of a tv show that's popular and well known by preteens. She's also the younger sister of one of the most screwed up celebrities ever. Those two facts alone should have been incentive for someone - her family, management, or network officials - to step in and try to prevent the situation she is now in.

Nickelodeon will need to step up quickly and make business decisions that will help it to remain a kid / family friendly network. Best decision they could make right now is to fire Jamie Lynn and make it clear to any of the young actors on their programming that any personal lifestyle choices that do that would embarrass the network's standing as a kid/family friendly network will cause them to also be fired.

you do know that we're in a war right now, potentially working our way into 2 more, in the middle of a terrible lending/banking/looming recession/economy crisis, choosing a new president for the next four years, looking for money to educate our next generation and keep them alive, and many many many many other things that i'd consider news... lets pretend its a slow news day, or even a no news day. in just a few hours, i could brainstorm a good hundred human interest stories to look into. anything but fucking celebrity gossip masked behind the impact a pregnant girl is gonna have on preteens? the problem has been there forever, at least since they had a 16 year old girl being a preteen idol. the really funny thing is that all the parents out there have no idea whether or not their kids watch her or not, they dont know anything about their kids. and now they're all watching entertainment tonight and laughing at the white trash girl in louisiana that had the same accident that [i bet] a quarter of america has had at some point or another

im just talking only about the fact that he posts the links without warning and that his site has no adult verification checks in place. you can tell he has no kids, at least none with computers.
