yeah... actually in english its football
and if i'm not mistaken they had theirs first.

and it does actually make a lot more since than calling our version football.

Matter of fact i think our version came from pissed of people with no foot-eye coordination playing english football and saying "f-it i'm picking it up and running it in" while the other players chase him and then the following penalty kick... and then someone had a lightbulb come on and said damn... that was kinda fun.
