I can't source over to the HDMI input from the regular cable, I've got my PS3 hooked up with an hdmi cable and I cannot "source/video input" over to the "hdmi" input and i have played with the settings and can't figure it out, thanks

look on the back and see which input you put the HDMI in, then use the remote to find it.

seems like a pretty basic plug and play.

the only thing that I could think of is that the PS3 might have to be turned on first so it can be recognized....?? Which you prob already tried.

ive got the same tv and shit wont show up if its not receiving an active signal

If you just plugged the PS3 straight into the TV using HDMI, you need to go back and use the cables that came with the PS3 to set it up to output to HDMI.
