I was scammed on ebay once. I ordered some Iraqi currency from before the fall assuming it might make an interesting historic (but worthless) piece someday. I get a couple 10,000 dinar bills or whatever for about 5 bucks w/ free shipping. they arrive and they're in plastic bill protector sleeves (that money/coin collectors use) and I check them out and they're printed off an inkjet.

I filed a complaint and all but I figured this had to be the dumbest scammer ever. Between the padded envelope, the bill protectors, the cost of quality inkjet ink (they were NICE pictures on matte photo paper at least), and the shipping I don't see how he came out ahead.

Haha and the only reason I'm sure they weren't just shittily printed but genuine iraqi money is they were only one sided and said Kodak on the back.

i pwnt an ebay scammer last week. he was selling video games and would send "vacation certificates" after they "failed testing." i cross referenced his po box and it matched with a business...filed a complaint with the BBB, got a response from their president indicating they weren't affiliated with it and gave me the seller's personal address and information...i contacted him and got a full refund and got him kicked off ebay the same day.

now i have his address, phone, fax, and email address to determine how to best repay the damage he caused to nearly 100 folks on ebay that weren't as persistent as me.

he has my work address. my boss is an honored helicopter pilot who keeps a punch knife in his boot. he got scammed on ebay once and drove to virginia to the guy's house and let's just say he was issued a full refund. i'm not too worried about anyone coming to the office.

i am going to fax him a black sheet about 5000 different times to use all his ink for sure though.

Well by the trailer trash breeder bringing in her copies of the transaction recipts and auction registration she gave judge udy proof of income through the auction. Judge Judy, a huge dried up old bitch though she may be, deduced they most likely wouldn't be paying taxes on this scam income. She could just turn it over the the IRS. I'd love to see someone argue that information brought before a TV show was expected to be kept private. They get scammers and other criminals with tax evasion all the time- I mean Capone anyone?
