Anyone here order a phone with a sprint sero account online? Just curious how long it took you to get your phone from when you ordered it.

ill bet if you were an ACTUAL Sprint employee you'd know. Instead of taking advantage of a system designed for them.

you know, just sayin...

This setup has been public knowledge for so long that, if Sprint really cared about people who aren't employees "taking advantage" of it, they'd have changed the program by now. If anything I'd wager it's getting them plenty of new subscribers.

you know, just sayin...

I think the phone took about a week to get to me, IIRC, but I don't remember the exact timeline.

Yeah it is a huge source of new business for them, hence why they have not discontinued it despite the fact anyone and everyone has been signing up.

And it is really a killer deal. With it I'm paying $42/month for 1500 anytime, unlimited night & weekend (which start at 7 PM with Sprint) and unlimited data. Basically you can't beat it.

My phone was here before 10am on the second day after I ordered SERO. Granted its the holiday shipping rush right now, so might take a bit longer.

I was in the opposite boat, sorta. I had cingular/at&t. My contract was up and I was pondering the idea of an iphone. Then I moved, and I could not get any sort of at&t reception anywhere in my damn house. Hence the move to sprint. It's nice to not have to get in my car and drive somewhere to place a call (yes, it was that bad).

If you need an employee address go to http://nextel.com/en/solutions/erate/contacts.shtml or http://networxcontract.sprint.com/fedreps.html

I have two phones on SERO. I love it. One if a palm Centro and one is a Moto Q.

From SD (and modified):
If you just got your new phone, you can dial #REF (#733) and enter the phone number of the person who referred you to the SERO plan (any person on Sprint will do, or pm me). Both you and the person whose phone number you entered will then each get a $25 gift debit card from Sprint. If you need someone's number as a 'referer', contact me or one of your friends on sprint. You can get up to $300 in referral gift cards per year. All $25 credits will be added to the same debit card you get once you make your first referral. If you lost it, call 800-424-4357. You have to call within the first 15 days of activation to qualify!!! There seems to be an indication the referral program no longer works if one of the parties is on SERO, but it is at least worth a try.
