Selling this thing for parts, including 1X new battery(plug in, no soldering needed), 1 old battery that works part of the time, original box/manual, multi input charger from palm( also sold as ac international charger), usb sync cable. Unit DOES include the original hitatchi 4 gig micro drive, however this drive is NOT currently int he unit but DOES have the original files on it and can be REMOUNTED in the unit. I used it with a 4 gig CF card in it to stretch battery life.

You can bid on this several ways:
a: unit with microdrive reinstalled, either battery installed, with all cables, etc. Unit DID work with the compact flash card, weather you will be able to live with the battery sucking microdrive is up to you.

b: unit in pieces for you to steal parts off of for your own life drive

c: unit with microdrive removed so that you can do the compact flash mod yourselves.

Display sample units of this thing run around 230 shipped, new ones still sell for 300 or so, I will take 150 for the unit as a whole, or accept bids on parts for it. I am NOT selling the 4 gig compact flash card that was used with it, it has been re purposed into a rebel XT. I have used this thing off and on for 1.5 years, and been happy with it, i started seeing battery issues about 6 months ago, due to a year of heavy use, i rebatteried the unit, it went back to working, after that i went compact flash to stretch out battery life as i only use this thing as a e book reader. the unit does/did sometimes lock up when i ran the battery all the way flat, and required a hard reset, however since its a hard drive based unit you lose nothing by doing this.

well, lets see, the micro drive sells for 30-40 by itself, a used battery runs 15, a new battery 20-30 shipped, and of course a used, working life drive on eBay, with no cradle, just the original box and all that came in it, runs 170-230 depending on 'extras' pre loaded on the unit.
This will have a less than 2 week old battery with it, plus the older battery that as of now has a full charge and is in the pda, along with the micro drive, running great.
the leather carrying case, palm branded wall charger, and the after market multi charger i used with it are included ( multi charger charges form ac, 12 volt car, usb, or 9 volt battery).
Also included is the original box, all packing material, and a receipt showing you that i am the only owner of this thing, you are not getting a 3rd or 4th hand eBay special.

You want just the micro drive for 30? maybe, if somebody else wants the pda. This may be TWW, but no device goes for 10% of new and 20% of ebay here.
