by the checkout girl nontheless

just got off shift at the ems station in morrisville, stopped to get some sushi on my way home at harris teeter (yes, i know, but it's better than no sushi at all...)

got to the checkout, she was all nice and everything

then she asked for my vic card, i didnt have it, so she asked for my number

i told her

and then she was like "so is it true what they say about EMS people?"

me: "huh?"

her: "you know... the thing... ahhh nevermind"

me: "okay..."

her: "i sure see you guys around my neighborhood a lot"

me: "where do you live?"

her: "off of davis drive near morrisville parkway" (censored for her privacy) "... HEY... you should stop by sometime when you're not working!"

then she proceeds to write her actual address down on the receipt

i almost made a carl face

me: "thanks..."

her: "and *laughs* i'll give you a call, too... mr... *glances at receipt* KINNEY. *giggles*"

me: "haha, okay..."

awkward....
