What's the best strategy to get a Wii?

My local Best Buy said there is no guarantee whether or not they will have any in for when they open on Sunday. I don't want to go stand in line w/o some prior info on if they will have any. If that's the case, then I'll go stand in line at Target, Wal-Mart, etc.

^^the wii is in this sunday's best buy ad. at minimum 21 per store.

target and circuit city have it in their ads as well, but without a stated minimum #.

When I camped out to get zorthagea wii, my sister and my mom came later, and my sister and I would swap time in the heated car with my mom (this was in january). I initially only asked them to bring me something warm

We hit up the targets and best buy near us, to check the lines, and then headed to cary. I was at best buy, and my bf was...I forget where.

A friend working at best buy had called that saturday to say 'if you're in line by 7am, you should get one'.

I think I was in line ~615? There were three vouchers left after my sister and I got ours.

BB would only give one voucher per person. They were doing vouchers because of the temperature. An hour after the store opened, any unclaimed wiis for which vouchers had been given out were freed up again.

My bf hates people who buy them to sell for $$$, and I listened to him then and didn't sell at a profit; if we did this again, I would not. My time was, is, and will still be (esp after this month) worth paying for.

Nintendo is supposedly ramping up production for the holiday season and doesn't plan for there to be any real shortage. Just in case, with one retailer (like Game Stop or something) Nintendo is offering rain checks for one in January to those who aren't able to get one in time for the holidays.
