P.S. the picture was relevant to the topic. It is, actually, quite ridiculous to say that using only one email account is evidence of technical ineptitude. Just because I provide a counterbalance to the IT admin circle-jerk doesn't mean I'm trolling. Also, my tone is no less polite than many others in Tech Talk, including Golovko, Chance, and El'Nacho.

Item #3 on your list was a debatable mark of "ineptitude" but the first two items (not seeing the need for 2 monitors or 4 email accounts) are ridiculous things to use as evidence of ineptitude

Just because I disagree with people, doesn't mean i'm trolling. I think it is very fair game to call someone out in a thread where they were trying to make fun of someone else, themselves. If you're going to be an elistist asshole about technology, then at least complain about legitimate screwups and don't bring up stupid stuff like, "this guy doesn't use 2 monitors!11 WTF LOL"


Once again, I've done nothing beyond what Golovko, El Nacho, or Chance have done. However, the shit fit that is thrown to kick someone out who disagrees with the du jour IT support monkey opinion, does, once again, demonstrate the picture I posted.

In tech talk, I have actually gone no further than anyone else. Look at the BluRay thread - that thing is gone to shit whether i'm posting in it or not and Golovko is in there with the best of them. But seriously, how long can you debate the outcome of an undetermined format battle? I admit that I had a back-and-forth with him, but it was fairly good natured IMO, and whenever someone asked a serious question, I gave a serious response - (nobody knows what format wins, so its a tossup).

In the thread asking to develop a solid state cooler for someone's house, Chance insulted me to high heaven for saying that it was too risky of a proposition. I kept my cool and in the end when I finally read his precious datasheet, it said exactly what I said - not for use in a household application

I suppose I possibly trolled Wyloch, but for fuck's sake - this is a kid who is a snake-oil beta tester almost. He himself admits that he recently believed that gold internals to a capacitor would help his sound system. I'm sorry, but that's someone who actually does belong in the thread about inept people.

I admit I'm abrasive, but no more so than other users. Most of the time I also have a good damn point, but too often people take the easy way out and just label it a troll so that they won't have to respond. Not unlike how the SNL nerd would handle conflict.
