Ok, so i have Dr. Knopp for this class. I've been studying my past exams and previous semester exams and flipping through my notecards. Does anyone else have any tips as to what the final is like? Thanks in advance.[Edited on December 14, 2007 at 11:31 AM. Reason : .]

I can't even count how many times in problem session and lecture the TA's and Dr. Knopp told us everything we needed to know about the final. They spelled it out so many times I've memorized it, which means you either haven't listened or haven't shown up to the last two weeks of lectures / problem sessions. 11-13 pages of fill in the blank 0.4 points per blank2-3 pages of identify structures 2.0 points each1-2 pages of multiple choice2/3 of the test is exam 4 material and beyond1/3 of the test is exams 1-3no definitions directly, but they might be part of multiple choice questionsno drawing structuresno calculationsmemorizable lists are part of fill in the blanks"relations" = memorizable equationsThe test is out of 85-90 pointsstructures may be drawn in any combination of waysfull and complete names required for all blanks, every time(Ex: Don't write ATP, write Adenosine 5'-Triphosphate)

^^ I hope your 20 pages of "precise notes" get you that A and to ^... I was talking to the TAs and they definitely stressed opening up Exam 4s from previous years and filling out those fill in the blank sections. Knopp likes to go through them while he's making put the exams and put exact questions... some of them are tricky....The TAs also said it wasn't too hard just incredibly long....[Edited on December 14, 2007 at 8:16 PM. PrincessliaI don't know why you decided to berate my course notes?? Whats up with that?? My "20 pages of precise" notes are the result of a real interest in biochemistry and a goal to succeed in the course. I'm not saying its the best way, but its the way I'm doing it. Hardly seems like something to roll your eyes at...PS: Its more like 120 pages of notes if you really like rolling your eyes.

^^^ thanks Princesslia!! See, stuff like THAT is what I was looking for when I asked my question. But, I probably should of said "additional tips to what Dr. Knopp says in class".
