especially those of you who eat pigs and cows. fucking hypocrites
12/10/2007 1:28:07 PM
i think the issue is that he tortured animals, not just killed them
12/10/2007 1:52:01 PM
i think the issue is that if there are people that killed other people and they are continuing to play football, some guy that killed animals should be able to play football
12/10/2007 1:57:40 PM
i think some people should be legally killable
12/10/2007 1:58:21 PM

12/10/2007 2:58:13 PM

NO JAILTIME.
12/10/2007 3:00:15 PM
stealing a dog is a felony homie
12/10/2007 3:02:18 PM
Also, it's one thing to kill an animal in as humane a way as possible. . .but it's another thing to kill them in a manner that involves prolonged struggle or suffering. I worry about those people because one day it's Rover and the next day it's their neighbor Roger.
12/10/2007 3:10:55 PM
and that is wrong, bro!
12/10/2007 3:11:09 PM
12/10/2007 3:13:17 PM
you ever hear of IACUC
12/10/2007 3:14:06 PM
haha, couldn't stay away i see
12/10/2007 3:14:38 PM
^^^ bingo!is it ethical to cause suffering if there exists a possibility that the knowledge gained could be somehow beneficial?[Edited on December 10, 2007 at 3:15 PM. Reason : -]
12/10/2007 3:15:21 PM
I don't know about the ethics of it, but I know some people who make a living killing lab rats for research and I seriously worry about those people. One day it's lab rats and the next day it's their lab partner. Serial killers start out torturing and killing animals.
12/10/2007 3:19:17 PM
12/10/2007 3:20:14 PM
I haven't killed anyone yet yet.
12/10/2007 3:24:45 PM
Haha.It takes a "special" kind of person to do that kind of work.I grew up on a farm. I spent a few summers working in a chicken house and a hog house. I've also seen my share of butchering. And I just do not understand (a) how people can take part in that and then eat it and (b) why people choose to make their livings at it.
12/10/2007 3:24:55 PM
I said I wouldn't and I'm not going to goddammit.
12/10/2007 3:27:12 PM
^^That's why there are so many cases of people torturing the farm animals before slaughtering them, it's a crazy ass breed that goes in for those obs and manage to stay.I couldn't do it, don't even want to see it.
12/10/2007 4:40:44 PM

he didn't get sent to federal jail for killing the animals, he was sentenced for conspiracy operating a criminal organization/tax evasion/interstate commerce/racketeering stuff and also violating the terms of his probation for drug usethe state of Virginia is the one prosecuting the animal cruelty

What does dog taste like?
12/11/2007 5:55:13 AM
What about people who hunt animals?
12/11/2007 6:08:02 AM
haha, you have no idea what you're talking about. you can't even form a fucking cohesive argument--it's just a jumble of statements with no apparent basis and a QED at the end for good measure. do you actually think about what you're typing?[Edited on December 11, 2007 at 6:27 AM. Reason : hell, you may as well just have said, "it's wrong because i say so"]
12/11/2007 6:12:39 AM
I just figure that killing an animal for sport is well...wrong. Were his actions cruel? Yes. But I also think that luring a deer out with urine and salt to a place that's advantageous to shoot it from a hiding spot... is pretty messed up too.
12/11/2007 6:21:33 AM
It is just pretty silly that he got 23 months for animal related crimes. WHen many people get much less time for violent crimes against people.
12/11/2007 6:44:43 AM
Wow - 392 is the MASTER of the quote function. You never heard of MV before this case? Too busy working at fag camp?
