My CD is done burning, and won't eject. I have right-clicked --> eject in explorer, used the eject function in itunes (what I used to burn it), and of course, the eject button on the tower. It is still showing up as a device (properly titled, with all the songs on it) in itunes, and as an audio CD in explorer.

The burner is idle.

I've tried gently prying it open with my fingernails, but that didn't work.

I sure would like to get this CD out

there should be a little hole on the front faceplate you can stick a paperclip (straighten it out obviously) into that'll force it open. see if that works

a paperclip is out of the question, but trying to pry open the tray with your fingernails seemed like a good diea.

Uh
...I don't/didn't object to a paperclip.

The hole was simply too small for a paperclip
