i didn't have your teacher for ENG 101 but i'm assuming with most english classes you may want to buy the books

if you can find someone in bus201 that you know(its a big class) that lets you borrow the book a day before the exam so you can make a study guide you should do fine...thats what i did...i lost the book(like 90 bucks) and had to borrow fuckwads and frugal_qualms book...did great on the testssame with ec201my teacher in eng 101 did shit in class with the book so kinda needed that one...is mea 200 geology? you dont need the book for that class if you get the athletic review

I always go to the class for a few days to find out.

Agreed with what dnl said about Bus 201 - attendance is mandatory, but her test questions come directly from the book, not the lectures. And you definitely need the Eng 101 book as well.

amazon.com is better and 5dollar.classmate is the cheapest if you lose your book and cant buy a new one

i have an old eng 101 book you can have for free. obviously it's not the same edition but it might work if they still use the same book. simon & schuster's handbook for writers 6th edition. blue and has some flowers on the cover.i had newmark for ec 201 and didn't use the book at all. he was a great prof and covered all material in class and never took attendance. i picked up a free book in the hallway one day and that had the same kind of stuff in it so it worked. keep a lookout around the outside of departments at the end of the semester. they get rid of a lot of brand new sample books that profs look over when choosing textbooks.i'll jump in this with: ch 100 aj banksant 251 dt case or 252 haenineng 282 orgeronhi 208 riddle or 209 vanvleckec 202 kilinc

you should definitely buy the BUS 201 book. her lectures are pointless and the tests come completely from the book.

dude wtf...the library lets you borrow it or someone you know might...either way its a freaking waste of money when you just need it for ONE day before the exam

i got my eng101 book used.i never plan on using it again and i only read maybe 50pgs from it this whole semester.

The NRL may have the MEA 200 book in the stacks. You could just check it out as you need it.

I never buy books until about the third week of class, unless of course it is a course that the book will obviously be used/helpful in. As far as ENG 101 you probably won't need the book, I just bullshitted the assignments and got an A. I took EC 205 and we had VERY good class notes so no book was required.

dnl, some people might need more than ONE DAY to study for a test, you know, it sucks to cram for a test, easier to study as you go...then nothing to worry about.Though, Bus 201 is damn easy and if DNL did good in it without a book, then ANYONE, I MEAN ANYONE should do great.
