their show in charlotte in october sucked ass from what i heard. same with the show in greensboro. i heard a lot of people say that dave sounded like shit and the bands timing was very off. but i wasn't there so take it for what it is worth. i think there is some video of both shows on youtube

I could not disagree with this more. The G'boro show was a ton of fun. the band sounded great and the atmosphere was amazing. Much much better than I expected.

I love Van Halen--always have and always will--and I've got tickets to the RBC Center show. But check out this performance of "Jump":http://youtube.com/watch?v=yXPM6d9IdiY&feature=relatedDamn. Van Halen is a fuckton better than that--or at least they used to be.

I saw AC/DC at the RBC center and it was pretty damn good. Maybe it's just the band.

tickets range from 50-150yes there are tickets still available...since it will be the 3rd attempt at showing up, many people had sold their tickets back after the first 2 postponementsthere's a ridiculous mind boggling 6 minute drum solo and also Eddie delivers the best guitaring ive ever heard (but i havent been to many concerts so take that for what its worth)

I just got back from the show a little while ago. It was great!Michael Anthony's vocals, playing, energy, and bass solo were missed. But it's a relatively minor point. I saw Van Halen in the early '80s, and if they've lost any musical ability due to aging--if they have, it ain't much--the loss is more than compensated for with their sobriety. Great show!
