I remember the first BBS I logged into...using a 300 baud modem (7E1)...and nothing but barebones text terminal emulation. Not even formal VT100. This was in high school, by the way.

I know I've said this before, but I remember growing up in the '80s...my teen years, as a matter of fact (born in '71).And there are kids on this site that don't remember what the world was like in the days of the Soviet Union.
