I don't want Ron Paul so much as I don't want a government that wages (and spends for) a war on drugs and a war on terror

I still think that the federal government should provide funding for education and for infrastructure (i.e. highways, etc)... I like some other seemingly socialist programs too

if a government doesn't provide things like universal healthcare and education what is the point of a government? if all it does is wage war (at home and abroad) then it should be abolished

To provide national defense, protect the human rights of every individual and a legal system so that people can engage in fair trade. The way I see it, the government should provide that basic foundation so that people can choose to work, and earn money to pay for things like healthcare.
