I have a 1995 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme LS 3.1L motor. It has a new battery and alternator. The starter sounded fine when it did work. Now when I turn the key, it does nothing. It has done this once before and we replaced the battery and it started working again.......for about 2 weeks. Something is causing the battery to drain quickly and I think it has to do with the wiring from the alternator or the ignition. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what it might be?

if it is a drawdown, unhook it, charge the battery, hook an ampmeter up between a cable and the battery, and start unhooking things until the draw goes away, i would suspect the alternator, even if it is new, but verify you have good connections first and the starter is ok
