I guess this explains how Santa Claus funded his North Pole sweatshops, through unarmed bank robberies.
11/29/2007 1:33:41 PM

11/29/2007 1:36:46 PM

someone explain to me why he's not allowed to gamble. i know that's a stipulation of his probation, but why in the hell is it?
11/29/2007 1:52:46 PM
^you read the part about him being a bankrobber right?
11/29/2007 1:54:02 PM
but what does robbin' a bank have to do with gamblin' or lottery play?
11/29/2007 1:56:13 PM
It is kinda stupid.Like if you were convicted for public urination, would the terms of your probation prohibit you from buying Big Gulps?
11/29/2007 1:58:24 PM
oh the irony
11/29/2007 2:00:55 PM
It's not ironic, it's just mean!
11/29/2007 2:02:13 PM
11/29/2007 2:04:51 PM

the way i understood it from this morning was that he was prohibited from being in establishments that promoted or ran cash games. this included casinos, horse tracks, and in some cases gas stations b/c of the lottery. thus making gambling a probation violation
11/29/2007 2:09:36 PM
^right, but why is it a stipulation, it has nothing to do with the crime he committed
11/29/2007 2:18:26 PM
i guess robbing a bank is in some way a form of gambling
11/29/2007 2:19:20 PM
he's already collected 5 checks thoughi thought those were annualwouldn't that mean he won it 5 years ago?
11/29/2007 2:20:29 PM
I say let him keep it. Keeps him off the streets and off government services.
11/29/2007 2:25:13 PM
11/29/2007 2:26:26 PM
maybe he admitted to a gambling habit that cuased him so much debt he started robbing banksim sure the judge had a reason.
