I have a 1st gen ipod nano 2 GB, around 1.5 years old, that has been having issues with the controls lately. Sometimes, like tonight, it won't let you adjust the volume using the wheel--it will either not respond at all, or the bar will move and the volume will go down, then go right back to where it was once I take my finger off. Other times it will adjust the volume, but only in odd increments, not continuously. I've also had a couple of occasions where I can't advance the track, and once where I couldn't turn it off. Anyone else seen this?

To be fair, I'm sometimes bad about leaving it in the car for extended periods of time, so I suppose it's been through its fair share of hot days and cold nights. If that likely made the electronics unhappy...oh well, live and learn, I suppose.
