I think going someplace for the sole or primary reason of picking up chix is a pretty asstarded thing to do.

Meeting women while doing cool and interesting things (and yeah, church can be that)...that's much more respectable. Organized social events. Friendly gatherings. Concerts (remember, though, groupie bandsluts are not that respectable).

Probably through friends. I find that its a lot harder to hit it off with a stranger in a non-social setting.

Of course, not all women in bars are unrespectable. I've dated lawyers and med students that I've met in trashy bars.
