This was a pretty awesome movie, and I'm surprised to find out that it isn't being discussed in the entertainment forum. Philip Seymour Hoffman and Ethan Hawke do really great jobs, particularly the latter in making it look like he's losing his mind.Gives you a "wtf" feeling when you walk out of the theater. The only other film to have done that in recent memory was A History of Violence. The story isn't anything special (a bank robbery), but the character evolution is pretty damned good. It takes about half an hour for the film to get going, but it's still pretty damn good.

^^ Seriously? I can totally see how that movie would be unsatisfying. I bet I wouldn'tve liked it if it weren't for the last scene.

for a better view of a history of violence, just read the graphic novel that its bassed on. then ending is waaaay more fucked up and will definitely give you a wtf? feeling

I enjoyed this movie very much. Definitely one of the more depressing movies I've seen in a while (nowhere near House Of Sand And Fog though). PSH does a great job except his breakdown when his wife leaves him is kinda weird.
