Our builder never sodded our yard because of the drought (waiting on it to end) and just put down some straw and a bit of seed to help with erosion. We've got some crazy weird ass weeds in our yard and our damned HOA keeps sending us letters us spray them, but they just keep coming back.

If only it were emo and just cut itself.
