Italy got a horseshit foul call to get the winning goal against Scotland toohttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=elz-HWuAZzgEngland's back level with Croatia now, 2-2. Fat Frank scored a PK off a weak call and Beckham hooked up Crouch with a sweet pass for the 2nd.[Edited on November 21, 2007 at 4:30 PM. Reason : link]

i wouldnt be surprised if someone not favored wins this tournament. no team looks real unbeatable right now. i cant see the italians winning it, that defense looks like they are getting/pretty old. panucci with the gamewinner against scotland? how old is he now like 40?i cant even really pick a team, cause i think its gonna be someone random, kinda like what greece did at the last euros. but, for sake of prediction, i think croatia will win it all.

Out of that lot, it looks to me like Germany, Holland and Italy should go in strong favourites. And the French quite possibly.

Here's the Euro2008 draw from this morning. Groups B & C are particularlyintriguing to me but all 4 look like solid groups. Remember, for the firsttime ever, every match of Euro 2008 will be shown on a non-PPV basis in theUnited States this summer on ABC/ESPN/ESPN2.***Group A*Czech RepublicPortugalSwitzerlandTurkey*Group B*AustriaCroatiaGermanyPoland*Group C*FranceHollandItalyRomania*Group D*GreeceRussiaSpainSweden

Group C looks like the group of death.

italy and france share a group again...along with holland, arguably the 3 most impressive teams in 1 group

Oh and for those who didn't read my thread about CONCACAF, I also mentioned on there that Croatia and England are in the same World Cup qualifying group.
